The Broward County Aviation Department presents Art and Jazz in the Rental Car Center eventas part of the National Travel and Tourism Week celebration at the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. The event, to be held on May 10th from 6:00 – 8:30 pm, is intended to thank South Florida visitors for using Fort Lauderdale by providing them with a relaxing environment filled with music and a chance to experience the work of some of Broward County's celebrated local artists.

Come out and support the County, travel and tourism, and the Artists!

Art and Culture Center of Hollywood Presents "ABRACADABRA", a Fundraising Exhibition - February 11, 2012

The Art and Culture Center of Hollywood, Florida proudly announces ABRACADABRA, the Center’s fifth annual contemporary fine art fundraising exhibition and raffle! Last year’s event was a tremendous success and was voted by The New Times as 2010's Best Art Event. This season once again, ABRACADABRA will feature the donated work of artists which will be exhibited in the Center’s main gallery. The funds raised will support critically acclaimed international and regional contemporary fine arts programming, including outstanding project room series, “Focus South Florida” dedicated to exhibiting the work of locally based artists.

"Essential Works," a solo exhibition by artist Isaac Allen Sandy is open at The Lee Wagener Art Gallery, located in the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport and will run through April 5, 2012. Located at Terminal 2 departure Level (Delta Airlines concourse), the gallery is located in a prominent, pre-security, high-traffic area and is ccessible to the public. Lee Wagener Gallery offers Broward County artists an excellent opportunity to exhibit their work Artists are selected through the Public Art and Design Program and exhibits are changed every four months.
